Gen is a physics of the psyche; a sculpture of affiliation; a machine that reconstructs the self. The substance is a formless, shape-shifting mass -- tangled and pressing. Together, the performers become a congregation, resulting in network of interdependent relationships. The notion of the singular, coherent performer gets torn down to make way for a textured and unpredictable psyche-as-landscape. We harness the primordial and the ineffable in order to create future bodies in real time, recalculating how to be together right now.
